About the Presenter

Niamh Van Meines, MS, ANP, OCN, LMT

Niamh Van Mines is a skilled clinical leader and educator in oncology, homecare, hospice and palliative care who has successfully accomplished the creation of cost effective clinical program development. These programs include: a complex case management hospice program, on call services, a nurse practitioner program and an integrative therapies program. Her educational initiatives encompass organizational orientation for clinicians, disease specific programs, documentation, case management, hospice eligibility and regulatory compliance. Meines is proficient in medical informatics and electronic medical record development to meet organizational needs. She is an accomplished leader, manager, mentor and clinician with collaborative relationships with chief of staff and interdisciplinary teams. Meines is a Board Certified Adult and Oncology Nurse Practitioner who is currently self-employed as a nurse consultant. As a Licensed Massage Therapist and adjunct faculty member, Meines teaches massage therapy students about career development in end of life care.
