CMS Announces TEPs for Medicaid Quality Measures

CMS declared several TEPs that are beneficial to home health agencies. Two of the TEPs indicate the development of quality measures for Medicaid beneficiaries. The first TEP will provide feedback on the development and implementation of standardized quality measures that support health care delivery reform efforts across programs that serve Medicare-Medicaid enrollees. The second TEP will focus on Measures for Medicaid beneficiaries with SUD, Beneficiaries with BCN, and PMH TEP. The main goal is to reduce complex conditions that lead to high use of emergency room visits, and hospital admissions, or readmissions. For the full article, click here.
