Decision to Care for COVID-19 Patients Pays Off for Home Care Agencies

When COVID-19 first hit pandemic levels in March, home health agencies needed to decide if they were going to accept infected patients or refuse them.  Many decided to accept them, and now they are wearing that decision proudly.

“When it first started hitting, we didn’t think we could handle COVID-19,” John Bradshaw, the CEO of Georgetown Home Care, told Home Health Care News. “There was just so much fear out there.”

They decided to create a plan, secure PPE and improve training for their employees, and it worked for them.
