Posted on Friday, March 1, 2019 9:37 PM

The National Association of County & City Health Officials, the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, and the Administration for Community Living collaborated and put together a new Capacity-Building Toolkit for Including Aging and Disability Networks in Emergency Planning.

This toolkit guides aging and disability networks to increase their ability to plan for, and respond to, public health emergencies and disasters. It also helps programs that support older adults and people with disabilities, through the emergency planning process of preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation activities.
