The National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care will host a complimentary webinar to present the newly published National Consensus Project’s Clinical Practice Guidelines for Quality Palliative Care (NCP Guidelines). The 4th edition has been expanded to improve access to quality palliative care for all people living with serious illness, regardless of setting, diagnosis, prognosis, or age.
The webinar will specifically discuss:
- The definition of palliative care and key concepts;
- How the 4thedition was developed;
- Eight domains of palliative care, including changes from the 3rdedition;
- Practical applications of the guidelines across care settings; and
- Strategies to implement the guidelines within your practice setting.
