The implementation of OASIS-D is set for January 1, 2019, post-acute providers need to begin preparing and executing plans to put the proposed changes in place. These changes will affect 33 items, reducing the number of data elements collected by 235. There are also new items included that will support the IMPACT Act. It’s imperative for home health agencies to complete the OASIS accurately, or they may risk financial penalty, miss potential reimbursement, or risk a denial by CMS.
This webinar will provide an overview of the changes and how they will impact your organization. NAHC will provide insights into overcoming implementation challenges and recommendations to ensure your agency is successful during this transition.
By the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

- Identify additions and deletions within OASIS-D and the implications of these changes
- Understand the challenges and barriers for OASIS-D implementation, as well as how you can overcome them
