This webinar will take a deep dive into how CMS takes raw Hospice Item Set (HIS) data and calculates hospices’ performance on the HIS quality measures (QMs). During this webinar, providers will learn how to interpret the QM specifications, as well as how to interpret the two QM reports available in the Certification and Survey Provider Enhanced Reports (CASPER) application.
This webinar is intended for advanced HIS audiences. It is recommended that providers have a basic understanding of the HIS, a working knowledge of the HIS-based QMs, and some familiarity with the QM reports to maximize benefit from this webinar. Providers do not need to know specific details of specific HIS measures, items, or QM reports, but should have a general working knowledge of these areas.
