The second video (available here) is by Nicholas Oliver, Executive Director of the Rhode Island Partnership for Home Care and Vice Chairman of the Forum of State Associations for NAHC is a call to action for NAHC provider members to invite their elected officials to participate in a home care visit during the holiday season. Oliver believes this will be a compelling way to inform Congress about the importance of home care and hospice.  As an example of how effective these visits can be, Senator Susan Collins (R-ME), Chair of the Senate Aging Committee, has said that accompanying a home care visit was a transformative experience and made her a passionate advocate for home care and hospice.
