Home Health Care Planning Improvement Act

The Home Health Care Planning Improvement Act (S. 578/H.R. 1342) has members of congress who are signing up as cosponsors to allow non-physician practitioners (NPPs) the ability to certify Medicare home health services.  There are a total of 42 bipartisan cosponsors in the senate and 161 bipartisan cosponsors in the house.  Click here to see the list of Senators who have cosponsored the bill, and here for the list of Representatives who have cosponsored the bill. The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) is encouraging you to act now to cosponsor this bill.  Time is running out as there is only one workweek left before December 18th when Congress is scheduled to adjourn for recess until 2016.
