NAHC has released its 2016 Legislative Priorities Document. The highest priority items are organized into a booklet that will be distributed to every Congressional office before NAHC’s 2016 March on Washington Conference, which will be held April 3-5 in Washington, D.C. The Legislative Priorities Document will provide NAHC’s top hospice priorities and address some of the regulatory issues. Additionally, NAHC will organize separate hospice and regulatory booklets for distribution to Congress. Once the March on Washington Conference approaches, NAHC will release “legislative hotsheets” to offer the advocates with additional talking points for their visits. There will be individual hotsheets addressing Medicare, Medicaid, hospice, private pay, and technology priority issues. For the full article, click here.
