NAHC has partnered with Littler Mendelson, the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA), and the Private Duty Homecare Association (PDHCA) to provide a weekly webinar series to assist home health and home care providers navigate through the complex and seemingly ever changing legal landscape brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In part eight of this series, their team will provide an in depth analysis of the most pertinent legislative updates impacting our industry including the status of the 4th stimulus package and how it has now evolved from the HEROES bill passed by the House of Representatives. They will also review survey results from 1,010 in-house counsel, human resources professionals and C-suite executives regarding the most significant concerns our clients still have as a result of the pandemic. Finally, considering the information overload we are all experiencing, the team will provide a high-level chronological summary of the most critical steps that agencies should take to protect clients, caregivers and the organization during this volatile time. This review will serve as both a reminder of recommended practices reviewed over the past several months and a recap of the key components of your organization’s response to the pandemic.
The goal of this series is to bring the industry together for real-time advocacy and legal updates, practical guidance in light of the same, and provide a forum for answers to your most pressing questions. Our industry is needed now more than ever, and we ask you to tune in for this series and continue to do your part to keep our patients and clients safe.
