NAHC Requests Delay in HH CoPs

Posted on Thursday, October 12, 2017 2:33 PM

NAHC wrote a letter to the administrator of CMS, Seema Verma, to request a delay in the implementation of the new Home Health CoPs, which are scheduled for January 13th. The rule has been delayed once before, but because CMS has yet to publish the Interpretive Guidelines, NAHC believes home health agencies do not have sufficient time to be in compliance. NAHC requested that CMS once again delays the new CoPs to July 13, 2018 or 6 months after the Interpretive Guidelines are released.
