NAHC Submits Comments Regarding the Provider Enrollment Rule with Proposed Changes

CMS distributed a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, including important changes to provider enrollment requirements, modifications to the moratoria authority rule and to increase the requirements that physicians must order, certify or refer Medicare patients in the Medicare system.

NAHC submitted additional comments to CMS on these proposals, along with a set of 10 principles that can be found here. NAHC stated that the highly anticipated changes meet most of these standards, but not all modifications are made for the Final Rule.
