TMF Health Quality Institute, the CMS PEPPER contractor, announced the release of the Home Health Agency (HHA) Program for Evaluating Payment Patterns Electronic Report (PEPPER). The statistics are now available for access through December 2015 at the PEPPER Resources Portal.
To receive your HHA’s PEPPER, the CEO, President, Administrator or Compliance Officer should:
1. Visit the Distribution Schedule – Get Your PEPPER page at PEPPERresources.org
2. Review the instructions and find the information required to get access through the PEPPER Resources Portal (the HHA’s CMS certification number and a medical record number or patient control number from a paid traditional Medicare fee-for-service claim for services with a “from” or “through” date between December 1-31, 2015)
3. Access the PEPPER Resources Portal
4. Complete all the fields
5. Download your PEPPER
Contact the Help Desk if you are experiencing issues with accessing your PEPPER. For two years, the HHA PEPPER will be available to download as a Microsoft Excel file. For more information, visit the HHA Training and Resources section of PEPPERresources.org. View the HHA PEPPER User’s Guide here.
