CMS has issued CR 10992, which instructs contractors on the changes that need to be made on the 2019 home health prospective payment system (HHPPS).
The CR includes the Market Basket Update; National, Standardized 60-Day Episode Payment; National Per-Visit Rates; Low-Utilization Payment Adjustment (LUPA); LUPA Add-On Payments; Non-Routine Supply Payments; he cost-per-unit payment amounts used for calculating Outlier Payments and Rural Add-on.
