Event Description: This two-day strategy-based seminar is designed to provide you with practical solutions and implementation tips that can be adapted and applied to your organization using Joint Commission’s home care requirements. Program has general and track sessions. Total of two tracks comprised as: one track= Home Health/Hospice and second track= DME/Pharmacy. Who Should Attend: This two-day seminar is targeted for Home Care professionals who are new to accreditation or to a greater role in compliance activities, such as a supervisor that has become a Director of Quality Improvement. Additional roles that may benefit are: RNs, MDs, Accreditation / Survey Managers, Supervisor, Patient Safety Officers, Pharmacists, Social Workers, Physical Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Administrators, and Medical Directors. |
What You Will Learn:
You will receive practical guidance from expert faculty to help you with your compliance efforts. Not only does this program go through all the home care requirements including the early survey option, it will also discuss the current status of Project REFRESH, a process improvement initiative at The Joint Commission and the SAFER™ Matrix. Identify the current benefits, trends, and updates reported with the SAFER ™ Matrix being used among accredited home care organizations. Resources available to help in the entire accreditation process.
