Trump Signs Bill Delaying Electronic Visit Verification

This week, President Trump signed H.R. 6042 into law.  This widely supported bill delays the nationwide deadline for electronic visit verification (EVV) in Medicaid reimbursed personal care services until January 1, 2020. 

Delaying EVV also means pushing back penalties providers may have incurred for not being ready in a timely fashion.
