Updated EHR Incentive Programs Listserv Design is On the Way

Posted on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 1:58 AM

CMS is creating new looks and names for some of its listservs. Soon, CMS will be launching a new design for the EHR Incentive Programs listserv. In addition to the new look, the name will be changed to the “Promoting Interoperability Programs” listserv. Stay tuned for these changes!

Additional Background:

On April 24th, CMS issued the FY 2019 Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) and Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTCH) proposed rule. In the proposed rule, CMS changed the name of EHR Incentive Programs to the Promoting Interoperability (PI) Programs. This new name more accurately represents the enhanced goals of the programs and the corresponding changes outlined in the proposed rule. The redesigned listserv will reinforce this focus.

Please note: Only the name and look of the EHR Incentive Programs listserv will be changing. If you are a subscriber of this listserv, you will automatically be subscribed to the PI listserv.
