Posted Saturday, September 11, 2021

CMS has announced new flexibilities being provided to ensure health care access continues for residents in Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, and New Jersey impacted by Hurricane Ida. On August 30, 2021, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra declared Public Health Emergencies (PHEs) for all the above mentioned states. Many of these waivers were already in place because of the ongoing COVID-19 PHE.
