CMS is due to release the 2024 home health final payment rule at any moment. With little time remaining, home health providers and advocates have been appealing to Congress, educating, calling to action on social media and more.
All of these efforts are the final push from an industry that has been very vocal about its opposition to the proposed rule, which was released in June.
Home Health Care News recently spoke to many of those providers and advocates to learn more about what they’ve been doing to push for a more favorable final rule. Predominately, they are focused on a combination of the White House and Congress, pushing for a pause of the proposed rate cut in 2024. Congressional allies are working on our behalf in that respect.
