CMS has stated its request for approval by the Office of Management and Budget to a public comment period for the OASIS C2. The OASIS C2 will have improvements to include changes to the IMPACT ACT of 2014.
The item set version is effective as of January 1, 2017. The following additions will be included:
• Three new standardized items with changes
• Renumbering of select medication and integumentary to normalize with other post-acute care settings
• The look back period has been altered for five items
• Several formatting changes throughout the item set
