Due to the continued focus on the Pre-Claim Review (PCR) for home health services, CMS decided to release “Early Data from Illinois” on December 5. CMS also decided to release supplementary data on 10/21.
The data report analyzes the issues updated by CMS in its 10/21 release. This report includes a full breakdown of reports released in the earlier stages for the PCR outcome. CMS continues to portray the PCR project in a positive manner with this new data release. According to the data presented and the data that is missing, HHAs problems have been cited with PCR and will continue to grow in numbers.
