Washington Update

Unfortunately, Washington appears to be as dysfunctional as ever with limited communication amongst members of all parties. Yesterday, after a failed attempt to get a fix in and support for the Better Care Replacement Act (BCRA), Senate Majority leader, Mitch McConnell was forced to withdraw the bill.  Last evening he came out and stated that the Senate Majority would focus on repealing the Affordable Care Act otherwise known as Obamacare that is in distress. However, the day is not even over yet and it appears that the Majority Leader will not have the votes to even manage a repeal. Senator Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, Senator Susan Collin, R-Maine and Senator Shelley Moore Capito R- West Virginia, have all stated that they will not vote for a repeal without a replacement.
