NAHC and CellTrak announced a joint scholarship program this week for direct care workers to help encourage home health workers on their career path.
“We can strengthen home care overall if we strengthen the people who provide direct care,” says William A. Dombi, President of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC). “This scholarship program is one proven way of supporting caregivers to advance their careers in home care. We are very pleased that CellTrak has stepped up to sponsor this program.”
The scholarship program will be for first for home care aides offered through the National Association for Home Care & Hospice. Aides awarded with scholarships will be announced in November 2020.
