When CMS announced PDGM, it included a reduction of the payment rate by 8.01%, advocacy groups including NAHC, sprung into action to push back on this large rate cut that was based on only presumptions of provider behavior.
Home care and hospice advocates made their opinions known loud and clear and the result was CMS reduced their rate cut from 8.01 percent to 4.36 percent, which is due to take effect on January 1, 2020.
We are all stronger as a team, the bigger the crowd in agreement, the more likely we are to get results.
