Last week, after months of starts and stops, the Senate finally came together to agree on a bipartisan healthcare funding bill to sure up the exchanges. Sens. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) and Patty Murray (D-Wash.) announced they had reached an agreement on a Obamacare deal that would fund a key insurance subsidy program. This bill has not been sent to the full congress as of yet. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has stated that he will move it forward once he understands Trumps direction. Trump has repeatedly called on both houses in congress for a real fix. He all but assured that Obamacare would fail after he pulled exchange subsidies earlier in October.
