CMS announced a 30-day notice for the public to discuss the Office of Management and Budget approval for the home health F2F encounters, both the electronic and paper clinical template. The voluntary template outlined the progress of home health F2F encounters required for Medicare certification of home health patients. As of August 12, 2015, CMS announced a 60-day notice with changes made to the new template, combining checkboxes and blanks for narrative documentation. NAHC stated the text was similar to the F2F encounter document physicians were completing for home health services eligibility criteria. To read the full article, click here.
