A final decision was declared by CMS regarding the Medicare Revisions to Payment Policies under the Physician Fee Schedule and Other Revisions to Part B for CY 2016, October 30, 2015. The information included payment details for advance care planning (ACP) services. Upon finalized publications, the rule was revealed November 16th in the Federal Register. Previous ruling on the NAHC Report can be found here and here. As the ruling came to a conclusion, CMS declared the following:
- CPT code 99497
- An add-on CPT code 99498
