CMS posted a new MLN Hospice Fact Sheet titled “Safeguards for Medicare Patients in Hospice Care” in response to reports from Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Inspector General (OIG). This fact sheet talks about patient rights in hospice care and examples of neglectful situations. It also provides information on how to report abuse.
