Calendar year (CY) 2022 for the expanded Home Health Value-Based Purchasing (HHVBP) Model will serve as a pre-implementation year. During this period, CMS will provide resources and training to home health agencies (HHAs) to allow them time to prepare and learn about the expectations and requirements of the expanded HHVBP Model.
On Thursday, February 10, 2PM ET, the HHVBP Technical Assistance (TA) Team will host a live learning event: HHVBP Model Expansion 101. This event will focus on an overview of the expanded HHVBP Model. Content will include topics such as participation criteria, cohort assignment, payment adjustment methodology, applicable quality measures, and performance feedback reports. The event will conclude with a live Q&A session during which CMS and the TA team will answer participant questions, as appropriate.
