Community Care Call Center Announced Assistance for Veterans with Choice Program Billing Issues

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced a Community Care Call Center to assist veterans with Choice Program billing issues. NAHC received reports of VA denying authorizations and renewal authorizations of home health and other services due to funding shortages.

NAHC reached out to VA officials and the Congressional staff responsible for VA health care, identifying the problems veteran’s face in need of home care. VA health care has been a constant problem on multiple occasions, however home care resembles those same kind of issues.
