Although there has been great momentum and communication to CMS mostly against the Proposed HHGM for 2019, it appears that CMS is still pushing to move forward with this initiative. There has been a tremendous amount of congressional bi-partisan support to delay and or reevaluate the proposed HHGM which potentially will cut home health payments up to 15% and reduce the number if days in an episode to 30 from the 60. CMS and the current administration seemingly will be communicating their position on HHGM by early November. There is still time to have your voice heard please click here.
