STAR Kids information sessions were provided for parents of children with disabilities during the month of February for the state of Texas. The sessions will include the following information:
- Details on eligibility
- Description of program benefits
- List of participating managed care organizations
- Private sessions will be held for parents and providers
For those who cannot attend the sessions, there will be webinars available March 4th and 5th. STAR Kids will be the first Medicaid managed care program specifically serving youth and children who get disability-related Medicaid. As of November 1, 2016, children and youth age 20 or younger will receive the following:
