The first is by Jane Kelly, Executive Director of the Kansas Home Care Association and Chairman of the Forum of State Associations for NAHC requesting a call to action to hear from the 2016 presidential candidates regarding their stances on important home care and hospice issues, such as how they would support caregivers and the role of home care and hospice in Medicare and Medicaid (video available here). The second video (available here) is by Nicholas Oliver, Executive Director of the Rhode Island Partnership for Home Care and Vice Chairman of the Forum of State Associations for NAHC is a call to action for NAHC provider members to invite their elected officials to participate in a home care visit during the holiday season. Oliver believes this will be a compelling way to inform Congress about the importance of home care and hospice.
