Home Health Agencies Are Preparing for the IMPACT Act Reporting Requirements

Under the IMPACT Act, home health agencies will begin preparing for their quality reporting responsibilities on January 1, 2017.

The objective of the Act is to gather consistent data that is individualized by four post-acute care settings: long-term care hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes and home health agencies.

The IMPACT ACT is determined to provide:
• Quality improvement efforts
• The standardization of data
• Assisted care coordination
• A cohesive connection from care settings as patients move along the care continuum
