Home Health Quality Reporting User’s Manual and iQIES Registration (1)

CMS released the first version of the of the HH QRP Measures Calculations and Reporting User’s Manual. The manual lists the methods used to calculate the quality measures (QMs) that are included in the HH QRP and reported on the Home Health Compare website. It has detailed information for each QM, including definitions, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and QM calculation specifications. The complete HH QRP QM User’s Manual can be found here.
CMS is updating the Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (QIES), a system that providers and vendors use to submit assessment data to make the system more reliable, scalable, secure, and accessible. The changes will occur in phases by provider type with home health agencies transitioning to the new system in January 2020. Onboarding for iQIES, however, has begun. This is the schedule:
