MedPAC has delivered its annual Report to Congress on Medicare Payment Policy. NAHC Report announced previously that for both home health and hospice, MedPAC recommends the update for the 2017 payment year to be eliminated.
In order for the 2017 payment updates to be eliminated, it would require legislative action. MedPAC is reiterating its recommendation that hospice be involved with the Medicare Advantage benefit package.
