NAHC Recognizes the Life of Claudina Molina, a Home Care Aide from Rockville, MD

Claudina Molina, a home care aide at Potomac Home Health Care in Rockville, MD, was shot and killed outside of the Giant grocery store in Aspen Hill, MD on May 6, 2016. Molina was one of six victims involved in the shooting.

The CEO of Potomac Home Health Care, Lauren Simpson, said the following, “Claudina was a lovely home care aide and very generous soul.” “My patients and all of us here at Potomac loved her.”

Ms. Molina is survived by her daughter, son, and two grandchildren. Her family explained her passion as a home care aide, working 16 hours a day for 25 years.

“All of us share the loss of a member of our caring family. It is a reminder that the work that we do is extremely valuable, but also carries great risk. We send our condolences to Ms. Molina’s family,” said Denise Schrader, Chairman of the NAHC Board of Directors.
