NAHC’s March on Washington Conference: Ensuring Health Care Planning Improvement Act

One of the main priorities at NAHC’s March on Washington Conference this year is to request that legislation allow Nurse Practitioners and physician assistants to certify Medicare home health services. This legislation is one of the most important reasons to attend this year’s March on Washington.

NAHC is dedicated to securing additional cosponsors to ensure the Home Health Care Planning Improvement Act (S. 578 / H.R. 1342) makes it through the legislative process. Additional cosponsors will increase the likelihood of the legislation, however home care and hospice advocates must attend the March on Washington to ensure it continues to build momentum and becomes law.
