The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) is hosting a Virtual Advocacy Day for Home Care & Hospice today, March 20, 2018. NAHC members converged on Capitol Hill this week to advocate for home care and hospice directly to lawmakers. For supporters who cannot attend their March on Washington, they can still take part by joining in the virtual event.
NAHC urges all home care and hospice supporters to reach out by e-mail, phone, or social media to contact their members of Congress on behalf of home care and hospice and the millions of people who depend on those services.
NAHC has prepared a Virtual Advocacy Day page to provide background information on critical issues and shortcuts for contacting your representative in Congress.
Here are the quick and simple instructions:
1. Go to the Virtual Advocacy Day Page
2. Select the issues that impact you
3. Click “Add Your Voice”
4. Enter your name and information
5. The messages have been drafted and will automatically be sent to your legislators
